This course is designed to equip instructors with a comprehensive understanding of Wyoming’s firearm and concealed carry laws, regulations, and self-defense principles. Through this training, you will gain the knowledge and expertise needed to confidently teach the legal requirements, practical considerations, and ethical responsibilities of concealed carry in Wyoming.

Class Description

CCIC Wyoming Legal Foundations is the second step in completing the U.S. LawShield Concealed Carry Instructor Credential Training program.

  • Existing Firearms Instructors can apply for prior learning credit by uploading valid credentials in the module below. Prior learning credit, if approved, will exempt you from the 7-hour Shooting Fundamentals Course and in-person shooting qualification.
  • New Instructor Candidates must complete the additional 7-hour CCIC Shooting Fundamentals Course along with an in-person shooting qualification to obtain the U.S. LawShield Concealed Carry Instructor Credential (CCIC).
